URGENT!!! Need to plan a two-day trip for TOMORROW

My mother-in-law announced today that she is taking the kids for the rest of the week. I'm trying to plan a trip somewhere for me and the wife leaving tomorrow (Wed) and returning Friday or Saturday. I've never been to Colorado. Could anybody give some tips on what to do if we land in Denver? I thought it'd be nice to see the rocky mountains and breathe some fresh air. But I'm open to go just about anywhere, by plane or by car.

Please, help me, I haven't got much time to make arrangements. Thanks in advance.

It really depends on what you like to do.

I'd suggest driving to Rocky Mountain National Park. Just before you enter the park there is a town called Estes Park where you can find lodging. There's plenty to do there, just about all outdoor activities.

If it were me, I'd go to Seattle.

Southwest flies there.

It's a metropolitan city with outstanding hiking and other outdoor adventures close by.

With only 2 days instead of eating the time up with travel I'd go to Rose Hill Manor in Stonewall and putz around the hill country from there. The Link Tubing the Frio in the Concan/Leakey area is another good option. Or go to Gruene and see who is playing Gruene Hall and tube one of the rivers. The Link

New Orleans.

Short flight and they are dying for the visitors.

The Bourbon Orleans is on the block directly behind the cathedral and fronts both Royale and Bourbon. I just checked the link above and they have availability from $94 up.

I love Nawlins.
