It's early, but look what we've got brewing again ... and remember, last Tuesday the #1, #2, #3 nationally ranked teams all lost as well.

#1 LSU 0, New Orleans 2 (3rd)
#2 Georgia 2, #11 Ga Tech 8 (6th)
#3 Rice 1, #23 A&M 3 (3rd)
#4 UNC 7, High Point 8 (7th)
#7 Irvine 4, San Diego 7 (7th)
#10 OU 0, #21 TCU 2 (2nd)

Hopefully I'm not jinxing the upsets ...

Another upset happened tonight, Nebraska actually WON A GAME!!!!!!!!!!

HNK - We need you to go to Collie Station this weekend to help the Huskers sweep the Ags. Are you going?

I'm in Lincoln actually. But I'll try and give our boys as much mojo as they can for this weekend. Lord knows I'd love to put a big **** turd in A&M's season.

Oh and I'll also be at the spring football game this w/end.

Congrats to the Huskers for ending the streak against Iowa, who has extended theirs to 8.

BU the only loser in 10 B12 games tonight.

B12 has 7 teams ranked in the top 30 (NCBWA), ACC has 6, SEC has 5, Big Ten has 1 (tOSU @No. 26). I knew the Big Ten wasn't a baseball conf but wow.

I think a lot of teams are finding that two mid-week games in the heat of the conference season is very hard.

The smaller-conference schools can use a top-three starter to compete more effectively with a ranked team during a non-con midweek game.

I agree. Our pitching depth is what has kept us in good shape during the mid-week. There is not a better staff in all of college baseball.
