Update w/ Dorial Green-Beckham at the USArmy game!

Dorial Green-Beckham is down in San Antonio preparing for the US Army All-American Bowl and Hookem.com has had some good interviews with "DGB" in the last couple of days... here's the latest from the info in the interviews...

DGB is down to 5... Mizzou, Ou, Arkansas, Texas & Alabama. He will be down to 3 after the game in San Antonio and the Texas coaches feel pretty strong that they will be in the top 3 and will be in it till the end. He has not felt a lot of pressure from the other Texas committed players at the Army workouts and he's developed a good relation with Texas' juco signee, Donald Hawkins. DGB has built a really good relationship with receiver's coach Darrell Wyatt and has talked with Mack frequently.

DGB is not expected to take any more recruiting visits due to his high school basketball schedule and this should come down to the end. Like Mario Edwards, I like where Texas is with in-home visits scheduled toward the end of January... it will be interesting to say the least!

I can't imagine with the already great recruiting class we have and if we land both DGB and Mario Edwards. I will feel like we just won the lottery.

I agree I35... since DGB isn't close to committing and Edwards isn't close to de-committing, it would be like winning the lottery. I'm holding out for one of them, but it would be the icing on the cake if Mack could reel both in!

Not sure this is the kiss of death or not, but Kirk Bohls over at the AA-S is predicting that "Wide receiver extraordinaire Dorial Green-Beckham commits to Texas, because he wants to be an immediate star and the Longhorns are in dire need of receivers." He is on point with both thoughts...

Does Bohls know the kid? How else could he even have a feeling on the situation?

Because he gets his ideas, the ones not on par with a 3rd grader, from websites and fansites. I have seen people with those statements for some time and it's obvious the hack known as Kirk Bohl's is copying them. See it on a site and then the paper a day or two later. That's how it goes time and time again.
