Update on Jordan Danks

As for his contractual situation, Jordan Danks remains unsigned. But judging by comments made Tuesday, it sounds as if he would like to begin his career in the White Sox organization, along side his older brother, sooner than later.

"I'm just ready to get going and find out where I'm headed to and where to sign that contract and hopefully get up here as quick as possible," Jordan said. "When you see all this, it gives you motivation."

JUST and FYI;

Brian Feekin picked up the win as the Bruins get out to a 6-0 lead after six innings. Lee Johnson picked up the save, and Jordan Danks had three hits as Beatrice defeated the A's, 7-3. Tant Shepherd went 2 for 2 with 3 RBIs, and Evan Porter went 2 for 3 with 2 doubles.

Admittedly off topic, but is the wooden bat summer league from the DFW area gone?

The Texas Collegiate League is still there, but much smaller, with only 4 teams. McKinney, Coppell, Bryan, and Kilgore. There was some dispute about profit sharing with the league, and most of the teams disbanded.
