just went to clean the terminals and get her back home.

as I loosened, then tightened the connector, the horn would start to honk (from the alarm). Then it would stop.

Finally, aas I was tightening the thing, there were some minor sparks, but no big deal. Then the alarm went off and would not turn off with the remote. The doors would unlck with the remote, which usually disarms the alarm, but not this time. I found the override button, and it did not work. While I was down there with the wries under the steering colum, I bumped into a couple of harnesses and the horn stopped honking. T^he lightrs were still flashing, indicating the alarm was going off. After some time, the remote again disarmed the alarm, and the lights ceased flashing, so the alarm would appear to have been disarmed. HOWEVER, the ignition does nothing.

NOTE, (see my other thread) last night there was NO JUCE to any elec. device on the vehicle. This time everyhting works except the igntion. The alarm seems to get set off by a wrench on the connector, but can be di8sarmed bgy jiggling the harnesses under the column.

Main question: Who knows of a good and honest shop that does electrical work, that may even be open for evenb part of the day on Saturdays.

thanks.
