I currently have ATT wireless and I'm thinking about getting an unlocked iphone. However, I just want to slap my SIM card in it without signing up for the data plan. I only use my phone for talk/text but I like the iphone design. I don't want to pay $30 a month for something I don't really want.
Is an unlocked phone the way to go? Will ATT figure out what I'm up to and squash it? Did I watch too many "Soap" episodes as a kid?
