And omg!!! The world did not end.. Typical that no right wingers paid attention. They are parrots and their radio masters didn't get them in a frenzy over this

Considering Kurt Haskell, the attorney who saw everything happen from the time the bomber was let onto the airplane till the plane landed, was going to be a testifying witness had it gone to trial, it sounds like maybe there was a deal made. Who the hell knows other than the fact that the bomber was pretty bad at being a bomber.

As I understand it Haskell was going to testify to the complicity of other men in allowing the bomber onto the airplane and that they were filming the events on the plane, men who have all but disappeared and likely never to be found at this point.

What a contrast between Dubya and Obama.

We finally get bin laden, and a bunch of other AQ members. Responsible close of the Iraq war. Have the europeans do the heavy lifting in Libya (which Dubya would undoubtedly have invaded). Get Al Awlaki. The Repubs card of "weak on defense" has been completely nullified by Pres. Obama, and as witnessed by their actions after the bin laden and al awlaki takeouts, they've exposed themselves as being anti-american.

Obama isnt any better than Bush. He hasnt really changed our foreign policy at all. Got bin Laden and Al Awlaki? Clap clap clap. What has that done? Honestly. What has that done? Ill tell you, it has done absolutely nothing. It hasnt stopped the "war on terror" or changed any of the anti-American sentiment that many still have toward the US. You can kill 500 bin Ladens and isnt going to change anything. Lets be honest about that.

The Iraq war will be closed when we are gone from there completely. Not leaving 10,000 troops there. Thats occupation. Ive never thought Obama was weak on "defense." Hes pretty much followed the status quo from the Bush administration from day one.

And what does "anti-american" mean exactly here? Differing opinion or view of how we should run this country?

I will ask a question of those above me. I honestly do not know the answer, but think I do.

The underwear bomber was arrested on American soil by American law enforcement. He was offorded due process. I think that every single terrorist that has been arrested on American soil by American law enforcement during either Bush or Clinton or any of them, has had the exact same treatment.

What is your point? This has absolutely zero correlation to enemy combatants (or whatever they call them now) captured on foreign soil during a war.
