This has to be the most under-achieving team in the entire country. Stand around on offense, can't shoot free-throws, poor shot selection,turn-overs, etc. In two weeks they've gone from a number one seed to a middle of the pack B12 team. What a waste of talent.

Who knows, maybe they over-achieved at the beginning of the year, especially now that UNC is unranked. I think this is typical of Barnes' recent teams, look great during non-conference, struggle during conference play, and then often pull off one upset in the NCAAs. I'm guessing we get the upset in the Sweet 16 and make the Elite 8.

I don't think this team will make it past the second round, if that far.

2 plays that just absolutely ripped it for me today were the back-to-back in-bounds attempts. Barnes saved us a 5-second call (maybe), then Balbay throws it to Mason who lands out of bounds. I can understand getting surprised into a 5 count once, but not on consecutive plays. It either comes down to lazy players not moving to get open, or a lack of coaching to prevent it. For now, I'll blame both.

I can take losing. I can take missing shots. Hell, I can even understand letting the FT issue become a mental roadblock. But what I can't stand - and Barnes better not either - is a lack of hustle to move without the ball. Way too much standing around waiting for someone else to make a play.

And a side note: does anyone ever remember Hamilton getting his hands on the ball when he hasn't shot it?? I'm happy to see Barnes sit his *** on the bench after he forced those 3 shots.
