I am cleaning up my computer, and there are several files in my temporary internet files that it will not allow me to delete. This concerns me a bit, any idea how to get rid of them? Thanks.
The problem is because Windows Explorer is the most ****** up program ever devised due to lawsuit reasons. But, basically, Windows Explorer sometimes protects a file for no reason, just like it was being used, and you can't remove the protection. Solution? Kill Explorer, use the DOS prompt, I think it's called the command prompt now, to find the file and delete it. For undeletable folders, delete all the stuff in it, restart Explorer, and delete it like normal. Apparently WinXP ditched the deltree command.
