at 7:00pm 2A Division II: Gruver (14-1) vs. Mart (14-1) Game will be televised on FSSW Plus in San Antonio Spurs viewing territory only; All other markets can find game on FSSW

I plan on heading up to jerrys world this weekend to catch a few games. A friend of mine is on the west brook coaching staff. the Duncanville vs north shore game should be a damn good one also.

I just flipped to the Mart/Grover game. Less than 2:00 left in the second quarter, and Mart has 56 points???

Kind of nice move by Mart to put nobody deep on the kickoff so Gruver ran down and recovered at the four yardline to get another TD late.

Let's not forget about Highland Park with a 5A state three-peat.

All this without a single senior that is expected to go to a power 5 school. Almost none going to D1 schools.

Damn, gotta feel for those kids from Duncanville. That's a tough way to lose.
Incredible talent on that field this week.
Unfortunately that is what happened almost every time NS had to make a play - they did. Duncanville's D's weakness was the back 7 (especially the LB's in pass defense).

He'll of a final Duncanville - NS. Feel bad for those D kids, battling back to take a lead with less than min. and then lose on a HM pass....

Longview and HP were impressive.

Totally feel for them but how do you want to lose in a state championship?

I wouldn't want to get my butt kicked. I wouldn't want them to win on a pick6.

I'd want an all out, toe to toe, battle that is decided in the last second. It's heart breaking, but you leave knowing you were worthy of the opportunity.
