Anderson Silva is just ridiculous. He is absolutely a level above each person he fights and he over matched Forrest Griffin in what seemed like maybe a minute?
He drops his hands and knocks Forrest out with a jab? I like watching Griffin but I am waiting for Silva to fight someone who may be able to hang with him for half the fight.

that was one of the worst gameplans i've seen in a while. silva likes to hang back and counter and forest just kept coming at him. and that was one of the worst ufc's i've seen in a quite some time, thank god i didn't buy it

Silva is just unbelievable. I think he is bar far the best pound for pound fighter out there. Some say GSP is in the argument and some say Fedor, but I've seen guys look like they belong in the octagon with St. Pierre and Fedor loses a little cred in my mind for ducking the UFC which at this point would offer him the greatest challenge.
The card was horrible, I agree.

I dont think Fedor was ducking the UFC. It is more likely that he refused to give the UFC all rights to the use of his name. Dana White and company typically get the fighters to sign some ridiculous contracts. Some fighters like Fedor, refuse to sign their rights away

Totally concur, Dana White is making silly money, his promotion has the sport taking off. And yet he pays those fighters peanuts, and I think I recall they may only get paid if they win, can that be right? I do want to see Fedor versus Brock Lesner. I suspect Fedor snaps the gorilla's arm!
