UConn's Doty out for the year with ACL tear

confirmed today that it's not a sprain, but an ACL tear. terrible news for Doty and UConn, especially leading into the big #1 vs. #2 match-up against UNC.

also from the article, Doty is ineligible to apply for medical hardship because she has appeared in more than 30% of UConn's games this season. it's her 2nd ACL tear in two years. good luck to her during her recovery.

WOW! I kept trying to keep up with this last night. That's terrible news for Doty and UConn.
