Ok, I know this could technically go on the "Basketball (W)" board but this is really for folks who follow the men's game closely.

Are you kidding me? 12 first half points? I'm sorry, but this women's team at UCONN is bad for women's hoops. I know, it probably provided some "drama" but to have a team that has now won 78 games in a row only score 12 first-half points in the championship game is sort of absurd. There is something fundamentally screwed up in women's college hoops and THAT is why many people simply don't go or don't like it.

If the definition of basketball is the way the men play it, the women simply aren't playing anything close.

well they arent men. when i was at ut, i played a pick up game against a bunch of the women players. i think they were a final 4 team then. we beat them with a bunch of guys in the gym. we were good players, but we werent playing on college scholarship. nothing is more boring than watching women playing basketball.
