UCONN vs Oklahoma

Did anyone else watch this game?? Oklahoma played an amazing game, I think they just ran out of gas at the end and UCONN finished it out. The OK freshman look solid. Taylor Robertson is going to be a problem, especially as many open three pointers that we have been giving teams lately. She is not the most athletic player, but in the few games I have watched Oklahoma play, they are great at setting screens for her to get open. Robertson dropped 23 tonight on UCONN.

I haven’t seen her play, how tall is she?

She's only probably around 5'8 or so, a guard, but she is a great shooter and leads the nation in 3 pointers made this season.

Hope K. Aston was stealing those' s play's they had setup for Robertson.
D. Williams need them so bad.
I just don't really see any play's for her from Texas.
OU played well, with 3 Freshman starting.

Great coaching leads to execution. That young OU team is getting bstter and better under Coale's tutelage. I realize there are those on this board who detest her, but she is one of my favorite coaches in the nation simply because she gets every OUNCE out of what she has to work with.. which hasn't been abundant in recent years. I see her take whatever she has and devise a plan rather than pigeon-holing players into a "system."

The funny thing is when I use to frequent the Oklahoma forum the people that criticized Coale were saying the same things about her that many on here including myself have been saying about Coach Aston in terms of the coaching. But I also think that she’s a really good coach.

In recent years she's had VERY little top-rated talent but still manages to develop what she had into competitors. When she DID have some better talent she made three final fours in addition to winning three Big 12 regular season titles and four conference tournament titles. I feel like a penny waiting on change for any of that to happen with KA.
