UCLA's and Duke's easy path

I've filled out a number of brackets on different sites. Every time before I fill it out I tell myself I am going to pick somebody to beat UCLA or Duke earlier on because I have picked them going far in every bracket. But every time when I fill it out, I can't bring myself to pick anybody to beat because their competition stinks.

Xavier? Purdue? Drake? Connecticut? That region at least appears pathetic.

I currently have West Virginia over Duke in the second round. I've seen a couple WVa games this season and they can be a good team. Huggins has good tournament experience (of course, so does Coach K). Something in my gut tells me that Duke is due for an early exit with the way they've played in the last few games and their lack of an inside game.

That may be true about the easy path, but who is going to win btw. UCLA and Duke? And can Texas beat Duke/UCLA after a tough game against Memphis?

Duke is going down to West Virginia in Round 2. Count on it.

I don't know- I could be wrong but I feel like Duke is due.
They've been bounced earlier then they have anticipated for 5 or 6 years, and not counted on to do a lot headed into this year. I have a feeling like they are in for a surprise trip to the final four. I agree Duke and UCLA seem to have an easy bracket- everyone in the world seems to have UCLA coming out- it's hard to go to the final 4 three times in a row and I just think Duke plays the dark horse here.

They were 3-8 in the 11 games that either Bayless or Nic Wise missed. They were 16-6 when they had both of those guys. I think they're a very tough 10 seed and could easily give West Virginia and Duke problems.

Drake may not make it past WKU. We played them earlier this year at WKU, and I was impressed.

Now UCONN on the other hand - THEY can give UCLA problems.
