Craptastic job by UCLA there at the end. Michigan scores with 28 seconds to go to go up 4, UCLA manages to waste 12 seconds before getting the ball in a position to shoot a three, then throws a cross court bounce pass out of bounds.

Bad night (and week) for the Pac-10. USC loses to Seton Hall. UCLA loses to Michigan. Arizona lost to UAB at home. Oregon loses to Oakland. Oregon State loses to Howard. Washington loses to Portland.

Michigan primarily played 1-3-1, since it's their staple on defense. They switched back and forth with man on occasion, but they predominantly played 1-3-1.

UCLA looked very disinterested to even be playing the game.

I know the Bruins typically start each season slowly and eventually play themselves into contention but they are not even close to what they were last year with Love, Westbrook, Mbah A Moute, and the ugly dude.

Jrue Holliday looks like a stud but is handcuffed stuck out on the perimeter in Howland's down-tempo offense. It just doesn't work without a true threat in the post.
