Started today. General public on sale next Monday. They'll be playing in the new Cowboys stadium.

Got mine, section 129 row 11

Which means they won't be in Dallas nor Dallas county. U2 is coming to Arlington.

I'm part of the "Boots" crowd so I'll get my chance later today. I'm sorta tempted to go the Norman show. yeah, I know. But that venue looks cozy, should be a great show there.

I got 4th row for Norman, and 15th row at Jerry-World. But now I have to eat Ramen noodles for the next 3 months.

Sec 237, Row 4. Passed on the parking though - wonder whether that was a mistake?

Section 110, Row 19. Got Parking. Now that was an expensive ticket.

Don't mind paying U2. Somewhat bitter at paying Jerrah.

Plan to take a half day off on the day of the concert, and the day after off (we will probably be stuck in traffic). I'm getting too old for this!

4 GA's, I am very happy.

That's the easiest time I've ever had getting U2 tickets. They have really worked out the pre-sale system since the last tour.

Holden-You have to be a U2.com member to get a password. I only joined this afternoon and had mine not 5 minutes after joining.

Got my tics on thurs.

Although i spent a great deal of time in Dallas and some of the northern burbs, Ive never been to Arlington.

What are some good hotel recommendations near the new stadium (any good ones w/i walking distance?). I suppose i could just use expedia but id like to get to hornfan info.

Thanks

Heard this morning it is sold out. I'm looking forward to an intimate concert with 100,000 or so of my closest friends.

THEU, is your Dad like the mayor of Arlington or something?

Did I mention my 4th row tickets in Norman and my 15th row in that city halfway between Dallas and Ft. Worth?

Maxhorn,

No. And I really don't mind if you say that the U2 concert is in Ft. Worth. Tarrant Co. v. Dallas Co is a huge deal if you are from there.. Not unlike people in Austin who refuse to say Round Rock is Austin. I tend to agree with them. There is a HUGE Travis Co. v. Williamson Co. difference. New people moving in either don't see it or just don't understand it.
Anyway, associating Arlington with Ft. Worth isn't a big deal at all, but most don't like to be associated with Dallas.

Owlhorn, that is a very thin limb.

Also, the biggest 'rivalry' is really between Ft. Worth and Dallas. If you have lived in that area long, you know the way those two cities essentially go back and forth at each other. It is actually often veryy comical.
