Any of you Austinites see this kid play? He goes to Pflugerville. Looks like a prototypical tackle prospect; 6'6", 290lbs, long arms, good footwork.

Apparently, he is probably going to commit to OU this weekend.

He's good engineer, and plays in a tough suburban Austin district. He's more than a little undersized weightwise for the kind of o-linemen Stoops likes, and probably gets shirted to work in your strength and conditioning program for a year. It's not a great year in Texas for o-linemen, unlike last year, and he's not Matthews, but he's not bad. Does that help? I'll bite, since nobody else seems to wanna help you out.

He plays in one of the top 3-5 toughest districts in the state when you look at it from teams 1-8, the district champs all the way down to the last place team. Hes been playing more on the defensive side of the ball at Pville as a DT, but he projects nicely as a tackle or guard. IMO he will be a 3 star who is a fringe 4 star as they continue to evaluate him. Nice pickup.

I'll be plenty hard on any okie poster who comes on this site to start a spit fight. When engineer or one of a few other okie posters come over here just looking for information, I have no problem sharing it with him, without insulting him or his favorite school. It doesn't mean i like zero-u more than I used to, it just means that mama taught me some manners. What a concept, right?

I think TT will be in the Top 3 OL in Texas after the camps. He is basically raw at the position, having played defense most of the time. He has a lot of upside. Predicting 5.8 **** on Rivals, once all is said and done.

I agree with you coolhorn. I see no problem with anyone coming in to share and ask for information and having intelligent conversations. Most of the put downs are meant to be good natured but sometimes the interesting conversation should be center stage. But not all are like OUEngineer which is unfortunate.
I am a Tour de France Fan and during the Tour there are many web sites but unfortunately it is difficult to find one where you can have an intelligent conversation about the tour.
