Tyler Owens 4 Star Safety Plano East

With all the injuries sustained in the Texas secondary, you would think we would hear more about Tyler Owens. He came in as a highly touted 6' 1" 200 lbs. athlete, and may have had a 5 star ranking.

The last time Coach Herman mentioned him was several weeks ago. He mentioned that Tyler and Chris Adimora were very fast and coming around.

So, if anybody out there knows how his situation, plans and development are coming along, then please do tell.

He has played safety on defense late in a couple of games. We will be seeing more of him.

I think some rated him a 5 Star. Herman recruited him as a 3 Star.

Estell is the current backup safety. As long as he is healthy, Owens doesn’t need to play.
