Ty rollison

I would say he is the #2 QB in the state.

Some, would make an argument he is the best with his athleticism.

Supposedly, he has an "A" problem. Not attitude.

Sulphur Springs just won state-69-49 over Dayton, with over seven hundred yards offense. Now, if he could just pass the TAKS...

fwiw I Talked to a coach from SS that I know and TR'S ACT was less than impressive (lOWER THAN vy'S WUNDERLICK). Florida is trying to get him in school WHICH THEY WILL PROBABLY BE ABLE TO DO...he also said this kid is the best he has ever seen..I know he is biased but he is really impressed with him.

I spoke to a coach from Marshall who basically said everything the above poster said....and this coach has no bias. He said he would take him over Gilbert.

I saw him roll over Denison at Texas Stadium-he absolutely took my breath away. Fabulous arm, hard to bring down, made good decisions, deceptively fast. He was a man among boys, and made it look effortless. I came away thinking he was the best HS football player I had ever seen.

Other than really liking what I saw from Whaley, the main thing I came away from the game with was a nagging question of whether or not we were recruiting this kid. He looked fantastic.

Anyone?

nobody in Texas is really recruiting him. #1 we have our stud qb in Gilbert and are in it for several 2010 blue chippers. #2 hes likely headed north to OSU or KSU due to grades.

While his passes yesteday were nice, none of them that I saw had any juice on them at all. Then again, thats the only time Ive seen him play.

That's not the way it looked to me. In fact, I had the exact opposite impression. Quick release. Lots of zip.

He has looked awesome all year. I've seem him 3 times on TV this year and he's looked awesome each time. Outplayed Shavodrick Beaver on ESPN early in the season. Then saw him on KTXA in the playoffs and that AA game. Always very calm in the pocket, knows when to scramble and does with nice poise and speed, and can really zip the ball around. I always wondered why this guy wasn't who we were after. Reminds me more of Colt McCoy than anyone. But sounds like a grades issue. Bet if we showed interest early on, that kid would have been motivated in the classroom.

I think we can take the "lock" tag off of Okie Lite here. Auburn just dealt Gundy's boys a serious blow. Trooper Taylor, one of Okie Lite's best recruiters and Curtis Luper who is currently recruiting Tyrik are both headed to Auburn. It'll be interesting to see what impact this has on Rollison's recruitment as well as the recruits who have already given their verbal.
