Tx Tech loses post player

6-3 incoming freshman Shanutal Nobles for the season due to a torn Achilles. This puts a serious crimp in their inside game with 6-5 Kaylan Talley coming off an ACL injury last season. This leaves them with Talley, 6-3 Kierra Mallard and 6-2 Jordan Barncastle as the only Lady Raiders taller than 6-0.

The Tech fans must be pretty disappointed in Christie Curry at Tech....they are just not getting anywhere.....to think, she was "possibly" Jody's pick to succeed her, before CC went to Tech, and Jody retired....of course, "the rest is history"....

I like who we wound up with, for sure.....go Coach G!!

Unfortunately for Kristy Curry, when she got to Tech, the talent level was already in a major decline and she went JUCO to try and continue to win, but that wasn't exactly a success.

The program has gone thru complete transition and it's been tough on the fans and the program in general. I think she is starting to get some talent back to Lubbock, but it's taking much longer than anyone would like. When she got there, she asked for 3-4 years to get it turned around. Injuries, especially in the post, haven't helped her.

yeah, my #2 favorite program has had some problems the last few years (except when they play the Horns at Lubbock).
