Question on seat numbers. On the diagram one side says 1 up and the other side says 101 up. Anyone have any idea or remember how the seats are numbered. I have seat 102 and am trying to figure out where is a section that would be.

I think seats that are numbered <101 are section L; seats 101> are section H.
So you and I could be in the same tunnel (or section) but I'm 7L and you could be 7H.

Make sense?

So, Sections 4-24 or 26 doesn't make sense to me since that's only a quarter of the stadium. Have seen Section 25 seats advertised as Alabama.

Anyone with different information on this?

Thanks, and

This link off the UCLA website has virtual views of seats around the stadium...

The Link

Also the sections are 4-1, 28-24... Section 1 and Section 28 are next to each other...

I understand that. So, if Bama has 5-13 - comparable sections to 4-24...then what about 14-23?

Maybe the two schools don't get the entire stadium - which leaves virtually one entire side of the stadium not designated for either school.

^^^^^^
Right. Texas and 'Bama do not get the entire stadium.
I called the Rose Bowl folks a couple of weeks ago and this is what they said:

Texas gets the east side; sections 4 - 26.
Alabama gets the west side (press box side); sections 12 - 18.

After that I think it's a free-for-all, unless they have since extended the sections for each team.

Sections L and H: this is how it was explained in another thread;
When you walk into your section (aka tunnel), seats to your right are seats L; seats to your left are seats H (or vis versa).
In other words, every tunnel is split in 2 - L and H.

Still not making sense?

That's right LC...

H = high numbered seats (101+)
L = low numbered seats (1+)

Anyone who's still confused, look at the diagram of a single section on the left at the link LC and others have provided.

All the seating charts that I've seen only list rows A-K with K being at the bottom. I'm in row M, am I right in assuming that it's even closer to the filed? almost front row?

According to folks who answer phones at the Rose Bowl, they've added two rows in front of K, so yes to your question. You're in the front row.
