I have foreseen the events following the Good Friday announcement. Mack Brown will roll a large rock away from the entrance to the locker room complex, and JG will emerge, resurrecting the UT football program to the wonder and amazement of all!

Word going around on Texags that he has postponed the announcement with speculation that it is due to something posted by a Longhorn booster on another site.

I think you meant to say that it is an aggy blog that suggested a UT booster was paying the Grays 250k to go to Texas. The Grays are going after the blogger as it is gone now and we shall see what happens.

I'm getting a headache trying to figure out the rationale for the Gray post on the recently-demised Thunderdome. Smear UT with a bogus accusation? Check. However, only in the foggiest aggy thought process (There's an oxymoron for you.) could the accusation be made without any repercussions for agricultural and mechanical's football program or the maroon moron that made the post.

There has NEVER been any indication that the Gray family has their hand out. Johnathan Gray can play football at any college in this country. He and his family have deliberately kept his recruitment close to the vest, to give him a chance to make an informed decision. There's been no vestige of street representation on his part, and his father has shielded him, rather than shop him around.

It comes as no surprise that the Gray family is looking at options to go after the Thunderdome poster. Expect them to lawyer up soon, if not already, and when all is said an done, they'll have everything the idiot poster ever hopes to own, including his or her butt. In this, I wish them nothing but the best, no matter where Johnathan Gray ultimately decides to play his college football. Freedom of speech has to have some limits. No one should be able to falsely accuse another with impunity.

If all of this causes Johnathan Gray to roll back his deadline to announce, that's as it should be. The obvious priority for the Grays is to take "Thunderdome" to court...and win, which they surely will.
