Two main problems

Problem # 1 is DJ is trying to hard to score rather then being the great passer that he is. I think several on this board have already hinted at him trying to raise is draft stock by scoring more. Is it true, maybe/maybe not but if it is then it is seriously messing withe team chemistry. Problem # 2 is AJ is shooting way to many three-pointers and not making them. I know he is problem the best 3 point shooter but right now, but he is not making alot of them. If he cut his behind the arc shooting by 1/3 and Rick tells James and Atchley to take more of those then the horns probaly would be playing much better.

Both problems you address, although they ARE problems, have solutions that really go against the fundamental makeup of this team.

For problem #1, we need DJ to score, and I think he's asked to by the coaches. We don't have a Durant or Mouton to bail everyone else out with crazy shots. DJ still gets his assist stats, and honestly, he's already locked up his draft status unless he gets hurt. His shot selection is ok, and I don't see anyone else impressing on that end except for wide open looks from James on mismatches.

Problem #2 has been brought up a lot, but the reason AJ takes those threes is because he misses more shots INSIDE the arc than outside. It's his niche, and he needs to find his stroke. Sure, we'd love it if we could redistribute those shots to others, but the team hasn't had the benefit of a slow zone defense in a while.

I think the main problem was that in losing Durant, opponents didn't know how to adjust to us until Michigan State and Wisconsin showed how to defend. Now we're stuck in a nightmare math formula that's hard to get out of.

AJ and DJ need too look down low a lot more. I cannot even count how many times off a pick that Atchlety, Wangmene, even James have flashed down and been wide open. Maybe not as much this game but its been a problem all season.

Every team has problems....ours aren't necessarily unique. We went on the road and got rolled (it happens). News flash...its also going to happen in Norman and Manhattan.

Aggies come to Austin in a couple of weeks and we'll spank them right back. Its the circle of life.

possibly as opposed to probably...seems like when Barnes inserted Johson in the starting lineup the wheels seemed to have stated fall off some....they don't seem to mesh very well right now and teams are playing hard and their best against them...he (Barnes) is trying to get some shemistry back in it and for various reasons, it is difficult....need any three of the staters) AJ, DJ, CA, DM, JM) to have several good, solid games simultaneously without foul difficultie...and need for Johson and Pittman and one more to be productive off the bench
