TWC steps away from LHN for now

The Cable Companies are not getting enough pressure to carry LHN. Now if those three games were the Mississippi, Oklahoma and Oklahoma State games then maybe so.

It's not on DirecTV or Dish. If you buy your own C-Band dish and the right pirate receiver/decoder, you can find it on Galaxy 18, transponder 22 along with all the ESPN feeds

Hopefully one of the satellite providers will pick it up and give us the option of going with them. Once a major provider signs on, the other ones hopefully should as well.

I don't know for sure and don't want to take the Man Card hit to my points but isn't the Lifetime Network identified as LN?

More Time Warner vs ESPN crap. I guess that's why we TWC customers can't receive ESPN through Xbox Live. And sure enough, Grande customers do. If only Grande were available in my area...

For what it is worth, I just checked on Verizon Fios for my neighborhood in central Houston. No dice. This weekend I was in the Dallas area ( North) and my hosts had LHN on Verzion Fios. I am envious.

Grande bought out the cable company servicing my HOA near Frisco in March. The very day it was available on my street, I switched from DirecTV.

When I called and told them why I was cancelling, I gave them one answer: Grande has LHN, DTV does not.

The quality of programming on LHN is outstanding. It's a damn shame more people can't get it...

Had a TWC salesperson come to my door this last weekend. It gave me great pleasure to ask "do you have the LHN"? He said no, do you have Grande? I said "yes". I said come back and see me when you get it. not that I would change, but.....

For funsies I call the companies when they send out super special savings to me and my household. Those ubiquitous general mailing announcements that come one or two a week it seems, you know the type. So I call 'em when on the commode and act really interested in their promotion. If I am bored I have them tell me the details they are so happy to speak about. We are just about to get the financial ball rolling and I ask, "What channel is the Longhorn Network on? You have it, right?"

No sir, we don't.

I am sorry, I am not interested in your product or company until you have it, thanks.
