TV viewing for big 12 tourny on directv???

I have directv, and the only gripe I have about it is that they don't carry the big12 network channel. Anyone know what other channel on directv might have the games for the tourny? I've seen where our games were available on other channels on directv for some of our previous games but couldn't watch because I didn't have the sports pack.

Your best bet is a Hooters or Twin Peaks type location. Plus the view is always nice.

The local channel here in Houston that carries the B12 Network is Ch 55, which as you pointed out isn't carried by Directv. I pay for the NCAA college package and always get the games (standard def) on those channels (~720). You can also find them broadcast on some of the Fox Sports channels - hit or miss.

I did that once for the NU game and the pic quality is just awful to watch. Not to mention the lagginess even though I have a fast connection. I was double pissed, horrible viewing experience + a sorry loss to nebby on the road.

Thanks for the link, but I know what channel its on here in Houston...Directv just doesn't carry the friggin station. Comcast does, but I won't even start on how much I hate that sorry excuse of a company.

Yeah, I watched the Nebbie game on espn3 and the lags were bad. I guess its better than nothing. I have dish network, and looked today to see if the altitude channel is carrying the game, but its carrying the Pac10. sucks

If you have the sports pack, the Thursday game will be on Altitude, ch. 681. I believe the Friday game will be delayed. The listing isn't updated because the teams haven't been determined, but I think it will be at 11 p.m. CT, depending on when the previous programming ends.

YES also has been an option for B12 network games, but not this week.

Not having Ch. 55 is a pain if you haven't had the sports pack, but this is the only game I can recall that has required Full Court to be seen live. I'll probably be on the computer Friday night.

I get the San Antonio station out of the air. Digital antennas are pretty cheap. One should work in Houston.

Yea I went ahead and added the sports pack on directv. Game will be on 640 and 682 on directv.
