Turning a 1.4 MB PDF in to a <1 MB PDF

I am applying to Business Schools I and I need to upload my UT transcript. My transcript is 2 pages long…and I cannot get it to under the 1MB limit. What can I do?

how in the world is a 2-page transcript over 1MB? what do you have in there? how are you converting it?

I dont know why its so big. Using Acrobat i was able to convert it into a something more like 0.6 MB. I thought I was going to have to send a buch of over-night packages. I guess the original PDF was too high of quality.

you need to scan it at a lower resolution

you can also try using doPDF to print to a new pdf with lower resolution.
