Need honeymoon resort recommendations for the Turks & Caicos Islands for 5-7 days? Budget $3K. I found a Club Med, how are they?

i stayed at a club med in the maldives, it was quite nice, but it as 10+ years ago, and not in the carribean, so i dont know how it will be there. Is it all-inclusive?

Check out The Regent Palms. I've been researching it and may pull the trigger. Looks very nice.

I lived on the Turks & Caicos.
Wouldn't really recommend Club Med for a honeymoon. More of a party atmosphere.

We stayed at the Sands at Grace Bay. Very nice. But that was 3-4 years ago and there was an amazing amount of construction on the island at the time.

grace bay is awesome - the actual bay/stretch of sand.
we were on a budget and stayed at a small b&b type place called Sibonne (sibonne.com). It was perfect for our preferences - small, intimate, awesome beach, great food.
The Palms (maybe it's called Regent Palms?) is supposed to be gorgeous and fabulous. I've also heard wonderful things about Grace Bay Club.
Club Med is not great. I've heard it is "singles" focused on T&C.
Check tripadvisor for reviews of places you are looking for.

Yes, the Regent Palms looks fantastic but $600 a night is a little steep. Looking seriously at Ocean Club Resort, junior suite runs $258 a night. Rated 4 stars on Expedia website and has all positive reviews. Anyone know anything about this resort?

You can stay at Regent Palms for 3k. Look for their special package rates. The place was amazing.

Club Med is a meat market.

As far as the island goes, not much to do except relax. Food is OK, but don't expect anything gourmet, and expect to pay $$$ (everything at TC is $$$). The beach at Grace Bay is the best beach in the Caribbean IMHO.
