I don't have a problem with it. He's right. The Horns never should have let the Aggies whip 'em, and Barnes and the team knew it. They corrected that issue last night.

He didn't say anything that wasn't true. Besides, immediately after a bad loss isn't the best time for an objective response - especially to some of the stupid questions the media asks.

It's a dumb comment because it demonstrates the A&M mindset when it come to UT.

At 6-5 in conference and currently on a 2 game losing streak and about to be bounced out of the Top 25, they are not "even" with a 9-2 team on a 6 game win streak and ranked in the Top 10.

Just like they are all convinced that A&M is the dominant team in Texas even though one team won its bowl game against a good team and finished in the Top 10 and the other lost it's crappy bowl game, fired its coach, and finished unranked for something like the 10 year in a row. Beating or losing to A&M neither makes or breaks our season - ever.
