Thinking about getting one for my truck. Haven't had one done since the 60k mile check up. I now have about 82K on the truck.

Anybody know if they are worth the time and money? I check the truck abotu 2x a month for fluid levels, oil, tire wear, belts, etc. Just wondered if anybody had any opinions on them.

gracias for the info!!!

There is no such thing as "tune up" any more. You don't adjust anything.
But there is routine maintenance, and if you are keeping your vehicle and want it to be reliable, there are things that should be done on a schedule. Many of them are every 30,000 miles, so if a good 60k service was done, most of those things can wait until 90k. Check your owner's book for the factory recommendations. Some things are done at longer intervals, or not mentioned at all by some carmakers, but should still be done occasionally.
These are fuel filter, cap and rotor, PCV valve, spark plug wire set, timing belt, coolant flush, fuel injector cleaning, brake fluid flush, transmission oil change, differential oil change, spark plugs, air filter, cabin air filter. You may not have all these items.
