I just bought a new EU2000i Honda Generator. The nice quiet types you see at everyone's tailgate. Put oil in it, put gas in it, turned it on, ran for 20 mins, runs great, but then I go to plug something into it and I'm not getting any electrical power to the outlets. The indicator light I think should be on, but it's not. Not sure what I'm doing wrong or if this thing is dead on arrival.
Anyone have any of the EUx000i generators that can tell me if
1. an indicator light is suppose to be on for electrical power (there's three lights on the front left, the bottom one I think is suppose to be on to indicate electrical power is a go.
2. AC Circuit Protector: is this button suppose to be "loose". I can depress the black button with the "20" on it, but it won't stick in the "on" position.
Really sucks. I'm gonna have to rent a generator for Saturday if I can't get this fixed. Thanks for any feedback.
