I realize Thompson is about 6'9"-6'10" and 220-240 lb, but does he actually bang in the post or is he more of face up SF type player in a PF body?

When Pittman graduates after this season, we only have Chapman and Matt Hill at C. I guess Wangmene can play a little as an undersized C, but is anyone else concerned about the lack of decent true interior bigs going forward? I think all 4 recruits for 2011 are guards or wings.

Before he was projecting as a SF due to his potential and lack of weight. Then he put on a ton of weight, lost a lot of explosiveness, and is being seen as a power forward.

TT is a very talented player, good BB IQ, Excellent team player, went from Hurley system to Findley system in one year. Remained productive.

"More of a project" how do we define project.
Conner A. was a project for 3.5 years, less talent, less aggresive play, may have had a better 3 shot but did not go to the rim. TT does better in most areas. Better passer and handle.

TT may think he is a "One and done".
Tristan has more talent then mosts of the bigs that have come to UT(Hill ,Chappy, Pittman,Wang ). Bigs take longer to develope but TT is close. If he gets 2-3 years of Todd Wright and he gets consistant at the ARC he may leave but the kid wants to be at UT for a degree and wants to play with Kabongo for at least 2 years.
If He explodes over a year and we go to another FF he may go but I have no way to know that other then TT indicating that he wants to play at UT for a while.

Let the kid get here next June and watch what he does for a 4-5 months before we say what he is all about. TT is very young 17 if I am not mistaken give him a couple of years to mature as a BB player . I suspect that TT will be here 4 years maybe not but it will not be because he is not talented. Kabongo may go before TT does. But we are all just assuming things ....Just saying now.
