Tree advice

I live on a pretty big neighborhood lot. (1/3 of an acre)

The shape of the lot is similar to a baseball diamond (In a culdesac)

My front yard is tiny.(home base) Only 34 ft wide at the street. But it gradually widens to about 120 ft wide... and then tapers to a point in the back (center field).

Anyhow, we have a tiny front yard, but our deed restrictions require that we have 3 trees in our front yard. Right now we have 3 live oaks pretty close together in the front.

They are doing fine, but I fear that in 5-10 years we won't have any front yard left and noone could see our house from the street at all.

MY QUESTION: Are there any trees out there that would qualify as trees, but won't get very big?? I'm talking about a max height of 10-15 ft and not a huge canopy??

Are the 3 live oaks there now, fine?? Should I just do nothing? We are thinking about keeping one of the Oaks and put a couple 'tinier' trees with it.

I would think that as they grow older and taller it would allow a less obstructed view of the house and that planting smaller and lower trees would do just the opposite.

Mountain Laurels grow slowly and rarely very tall. There are lots of different small trees to choose from. I'd go to a good local nursery and bend their ear for your particular area which is...?

I live in Spring... There are natural pine trees everywhere. We have three bigguns in the back yard and don't won't anymore of those.

Thanks for the advice... anything else?

If you live in Spring, I doubt you could get Mt. Laurels to grow there. If the oaks are that close to each other, their root systems should self contain their growth. However if you are that concerned, see if you could get away with a large Crepe Myrtle.
