Treasure Island in Vegas?

I've stayed at the Wynn and Mandalay Bay, but am looking to save some coin on the hotel for this trip. Found a great deal at Treasure Island...how is it?

I've stayed there 3-4 times for that very reason

its actually nice. I like the casino and while the rooms are not the Wynn or something.... they are above Avg...clean...more than good enough for a vegas trip

If you can save money there...its more than good enough to stay in

I hear Casino Royale refurbished their motel-style rooms recently.
Several of my friends like to stay there...and enjoy the cheap gamblin'.

TI is a pretty nice place...their remodeled rooms are a cut above the average. Their buffet sucks.

If you're used to the Wynn and MB, do not stay at OSheas. That place is a dump. TI on the other hand is fine. The casino is nice and relaxed, and the rooms are decent. Its a great place to stay on a budget (much better than Luxor, Excal, Circus Circus, Strat, etc) and on par with Flamingo (although TI's casino is better, Flamingo's pool is better). The only drawback to staying at TI is the size of their pool. It's pretty small and during the summer months it will get PACKED.

its a good value.....i would look into the new planet hollywood.....been a ton of good deals.

Just got back today from staying at TI. It's not up to the "top-tier" standards of the ultra-luxe Bellagio, Venetian, Wynn, etc., but it's definitely decent enough.

The location is pretty good too - across the street from Venetian/Palazzo, next to Mirage, and just down the street from the Wynn. The free Sirens of TI show outside is pretty cool.

Didnt stay there....but if you look on tripadvisor or other sites they have pics of the rooms....looks pretty cool....only prob is that they have only redone 1/2 of the old alladin rooms.....so that kinda sucks...

ate at Koi there as well.....cool place....food was just ok...

I stayed at PH a few months ago (well sort of, I spent maybe 2 hours in the room total since we were also staying at another hotel), but the room I was in was exactly like the old Aladdin rooms. Now this isn't a bad thing. I always thought the Aladdin was a good hotel. It was nice and new and prices were reasonable. Now that its PH the casino is better than it was, as is the cafe (~much better food). If the rooms are the same as they were then they should be fine (better than TIs with large bathrooms, big tubs, separate showers, spacious rooms) and if they're remodeled that much better. The locations is also a little better being that its more in the middle of the strip. AND (if you're into this sort of thing

) there's the Hawaiian Tropic Zone where girls in bikinis dance around all day long that you'll get to walk past every time you leave or enter the casino.

I also like the TI and we place many of our employees there for CES. Well kept-up hotel with a great location. the buffet, as noted, stinks.

TI is a good mid-range hotel in a good location. I have no problem staying there. I used to rate Monte Carlo they same way but it's getting a little long in the tooth.
