Travel Agent Suggestions

Not sure if this is the right board, but, I'm trying to plan a destination wedding in Mexico and I'd like to talk to a travel agent here in Austin to help us out with arrangements. does anyone have some suggestions on who to use or who not to use? Any info is appreciated.

We got married in Lake Tahoe and had a great time. Being on the beach in Playa Del Carmen would be cool. Going to Royal Hideaway in Playacar in a week!!!

We have been to several resorts in the Caribbean and there is always someone getting married on the beach. In March we went to the RH in Playacar and there were 3 weddings while we were there.

Pre 9/11 the going rate was $1500 -2500 to have a wedding at a resorts but now many resorts will provides alot of the wedding stuff to get you to go there. You need to ask.

Try some of the web sites and negotiate from there.
