Haha, you beat me to it! I was going to start a thread on this tomorrow.

I can see it going both ways--our 'Horns come out flat on the heels of last week's back-to-back victories over top 10 teams, or our 'Horns maintain their focus and take care of business.

Either way, I expect a sincere effort from Okie Lite. The Cowboys always seem to fight to the last shot at GIA.

One thing's for certain: Kansas was a turning point because no longer will Texas be an underdog (not that it would've been for Okie Lite, of course). Assuming our 'Horns keep winning, they will be favored in every regular season match the rest of the way, and everyone will be gunning to knock them from their perch.

OSU is hard to get a fix on. They play pretty well at home and have been abysmal at times on the road. I expect them to be fired up tomorrow and the fact that they have lost 3 our of 4 could make them even hungrier.

I expect our team to be ready, because they haven't given me any reason not to for quite a while now.

Tomorrow is the 10 year anniversary of the plane crash that killed several members of the OSU basketball team and support staff. OSU will have pre-game program honoring this tragedy, so that emotion will be layered on top of this game.

It certainly lines up as one. Two big wins behind them and two big games against top 20 opponents coming up, this meets the type of game that can sneak up and bite you.

This has nothing to do with a trap game. This team learned its lesson at USC.They will be ready to play.Doesn't guarantee a win but they will be ready.

Trap game is one of the most overused terms in hoops.

OK Lite is never a trap game, especially in Stillwater. It's notorious for being one of the best and most challenging stages to play college basketball. OK Lite has had teams in the past that really scared me, but I think our team should be scaring our competition this year. Not going to be easy...but this team should be prepared and should win. First time in a while where we go into Stillwater and I'm not predicting a loss.

i dont really believe in trap games in basketball. its a conference game against against a basketball rival. tx will not be flat. they may play like crap and lose but it will not be because its a trap game.

What a finish to the half! Scripted play fell apart, but Cove gets the rebound and kicks it out to a wide-open Jordan, who calmly drains the 3. Texas 34, Okie Lite 27.

Take away a 4 minute stretch at 11:00 during which Texas made 6 turnovers and poor defensive rebounding (OSU has 6 OR), the Horns would be up comfortably. As is, they are allowing OSU to hang around this game which is dangerous.

What Branyon said. Too many turnovers and too many offensive rebounds are keeping the Cowboys in this. Tristan getting back-to-back fouls didn't help, either, but give Barnes & Co. credit for overcoming those obstacles.

Offensively, Dogus Balbay is carrying the 'Horns. I can't believe I just typed that. But it's true--Dogus has scored a team-high 10 points on 3-of-4 shooting from the floor and 4-of-6 from the foul line.

Well, if we don't slow this game down and quit making stupid shots then it might be a trap game. SLOW IT DOWN AND CONTROL YOUR SHOTS! HOLY COW!!!

Could only follow game at work on net but seems like Horns kept a consistent lead throughout. The type of workmanlike road win you need in the Big XII.

Saturday night with Mizzou is huge and with a road trip to aggy on Monday is almost a must win.

Another road game, another conference win for our Texas Longhorns. It's amazing how we can look so-so and yet come away with a 15-point victory in another team's house.

Agreed...not the prettiest win but that was some good defense. And Barnes is figuring out what lineups get it done in certain circumstances. Free throws were 13/19 for 68%. Oh well, didn't need it. Hamilton had 11 rebounds. Nice! We held Page, their 2nd leading scorer to 0 points (averages 14), granted he had some open shots. Keep it up Horns! The next two could be tough!!

This is much more enjoyable than last season.

"This is going to be a 5 point game for 30 minutes then Texas extends and takes a 14 point win back to Austin." _____________________________________________ Actually, more like 19min and 59 sec
