Transmission Help: 2000 Mustang GT

I have a 2000 Ford Mustang GT, which as of late has occasionally had some trouble shifting from 1-2, every so often, making a grinding noise with the clutch fully in...Any ideas of what the problem might be or if any of ya'll know good places for transmission help in Austin adice would be greatly appreciated.
