Transferring tickets?

Does anyone know how I would go about transferring tickets to someone else?

Here’s the scenario: my dad’s friend is the season ticket holder. He has an email with a link to tickets for the game we’re going to. We want 2 of the 4 tickets, and he needs the sell the other 2. The only problem is that the link contains all 4 tickets. Whoever I send it to would have access to all 4.

I currently have all 4 tickets downloaded to my Apple Wallet, but there is no share option from there (which is a feature either UT or the venue has taken away).

Does anyone have ideas on how we can split these tickets?

I think the season ticket holder will need to sign into his account and transfer each ticket individually.

Just as an FYI if you are in the Austin area you can go to Belmont Hall and they will print out hard copies of season tickets or individual games.

They do charge a $35 flat rate to do this.

Hope I don’t get into some kind of trouble for telling this but I make a screen shot copy of one of our two tickets for my wife, send to her via text and then she uses that copy to get thru the reader when we don’t enter at same time. Works every time.

I had done screen shots in the past but last year at the beginning of baseball season the iphone would not let you screenshot the tickets it would blank out the barcode.
I understand that it is letting you take screen shots again which is the easiest way to transfer.

Guess it was from the baseball experience I had heard it wouldn’t work but has worked for us which is a good thing because we rarely enter stadium at same time.

I had also heard this from someone who tried it with baseball last year, and the screenshot didn't work.

My dad's friend doesn't have the Texas Longhorns app, but I'm assuming if he downloads it and uses his TBO log in, then he should be able to transfer the tickets to me. Let's see!

I did try taking a screen shot of the ticket, and it let me. Has the QR code along with a number along the bottom. I'm wondering if I can sell a picture though. :e-thinking:

You can sell the picture but the person buying it has to trust that you won’t sell it to multiple people.

Walking Horn,

Each ticket will appear in your wallet separately. Choose two by clicking on each separately, then put his phone number in the transfer window. You will receive a confirmation that you have transferred them and he has "X" hours to accept.

If it makes you more comfortable, call the ticket office (512-471-3333) and leave a message. They will call you back and walk you through the transfer process. They will also email you a step by step instruction on doing that. I think I have a dozen of those emails.

Call 512.471.3333, they will be happy to help. (The number hasn't changed since the 70s when I was there.)
