Transferring old 8mm video to DVD

Anyone have any recommendations for places that will transfer your old 8mm home videos to DVD format? Preferably in the Austin area.
I see a few companies listed on Yahoo yellow pages but I was interested in anyone who had feedback or advice on a company that did good work.

Thanks.

Are you talking about 8mm film or Hi-8 or standard 8 mm video tape? PM me

I'm in the process of setting up a side business to convert 8/super 8 movies to DVD or digital videotape. Equipment is very expensive. For the DIYer, there are several different ways to do it. First way is to just film the projected image off of a screen. Not high quality but economical. Second way is to use a device that creates an aerial image that you can record. More expensive, better quality. Third way is to use a computer/video telecine combination device to physically scan each frame, which is what I do. Equipment is very expensive but the quality is excellent.
