traffic lawyer houston

In need of a traffic lawyer in Houston. Anyone have any recommendations.

All i know is that i got a couple of tickets in Houston last week and already have had two firms solicit me via mail to handle my tickets...and I live in Tyler. What sort of issue do you have that you need an attorney for a traffic ticket? Are you contending that you aren't guilty and want a trial?

Asking for a friend who didn't pay a ticket and drove without a license for two years. Was recently stopped for speeding and than taken to jail because a warrant was out for the previous ticket. Now courts want to suspend license for three years and recommended my friend to get a lawyer for the hearing. I'm thinking a lawyer could argue it down to a fine or community service.
