Safety Earl Thomas:"When you have bad plays, you just have to forget about it. That's the goal if you want to be a good DB. After I missed that one tackle, I just tried to forget about it, and then something good happened for me."
TE Blaine Irby
On continuing the momentum from last week: As a team, we just have to keep working hard. After every game, we just have to put it in the past and go to the next game. This week, starting on Sunday we were looking at film of UTEP, started practicing a little bit, just working every day and getting ready for the next game. Last game was a very good game for our team, but like I said, we just have to put it in the past and look to the next game because you have to take it one week at a time.
He has the "Bill in Sinton" attitude!!! FOCUS baby!!!!
Focusness from such a young player...do I see another Thorpe winner in the making? I am so freakin impressed with these two players it is unreal. Gideon looked really good in the game. Yes the middle looked open several times and he missed a tackle, but he was all over the field and ready to blast people. I love that passion. Irby was the go-to guy for Colt. Knowing you can check down to a reliable TE is like a warm safety blanket for the QB. Irby was not only a reliable catch but he showed some really nice hands with the diving catch.
Two freshmen acting like upper classmen, all I can say is smoke em if you got em.
