tower lit for baseball?

Not that we have any remote chance of beating aggy this weekend, but if a miracle occurred and we clinched the Big 12 Championship regular season, would the tower be lit all orange for this (for a reg. season championship?)

Also, would it be lit after the clinching game or after the series is over (or after the season is over)?

Don't we light it any time we beat aggy at something? Sure, we light it for any football game, any championship ranging from conference to national as well. But unless I am mistaken we light it any time we beat the sheep humpers.

I wish it was that way for ou and not aggy.

The top is Burnt Orange after football victories, only. The whole shaft is Burnt Orange after a victory over aggy, in football only, and after Big XII Championships in any sport, men's and women's...I believe this applies to regular season championships and tournament championships. You know what the addition of the '1' means.

Of course, there are non-sports related reasons to do all of the above, and it may be lighted "...at the discretion of the President of the The University."

The tower will be lit for winning a conference championship in any men's or women's sport. When it will be lit for the baseball Big XII championship I don't know ( or maybe it already was?).

TexasSports.com had an article up around 8:45 last night that said the tower would be lit "this evening" to honor the baseball team's championship. Some people are saying it was not lit, though. Who knows? The article that was up is now gone from the main page, but it is still in the archives.
