Torchy's tacos

So they are opening up a Torchy's tacos here in Dallas around the corner from my house. I haven't lived in Austin since I graduated in1999. My neighbor says his friends in Austin brag about how good this place. Anyone on here ever eaten there? Anything specific I should try?

Torchy's has been hit and miss every time I have gone. I have had taco's which were good and ordered the same tacos later and had them be uneatable. At its best it is "pretty good". Now when you guys get a Taco Deli, then you should get excited.

Taco Deli is close to my work and in my opinion is horrible. There is a taqueria on Braker and I-35 in a hole next to a gas station that is decent, and by decent I mean much better than Taco Deli.

Taco Deli is not a taqueria, they are white man tacos. That said, I would love to know what you ordered so I know to avoid it. I've loved damn near everything I've ever had there. It doesn't travel well (you need to eat it there) but the quality is usually quite high.

Torchy's is awesome. Pricey for tacos, but worth it imo.
