The big 12 will be the best conference once again next season. The question remains who will be the team to beat? In my opinion the top dog will be a toss up between Baylor and Texas A&M. I would pegg A&M at no 1 because they lose only one starter and gain two highly rated recruits includin the top post in the country 6'5" Karla Gilbert. Did anyone else see her play in the Mcdonalds AA-Game? The girl flatt out dominated. She along with Sidney Colson and Daniell Adams spells trouble for big 12 teams. I would put Baylor at # 2 only because of the overall size a&m will have. The Lady Bears will have three extra Mcdonalds All-Americans playing for them next season. Transfers Broklyn Pope ( ft. worth dunbar hs.- & Rutgers) ; Illinois transfer Destiny Williams ( 29.9PPG IN HIGH SCHOOL) and Odysessy Sims if she can recover from her ACL. Wouldnt surprise me if either A&m or Baylor wins National Championship next season. Other than those two, I beleive others will be a step behind. I think that Texas finishes third in the south with a good recruting class next year followed by Oklahoma who will get Whitney hand back. Iowa State will probaly be the fifth best team but could have a better conference record than Texas and Oklahoma simply because they play in the north.
