Top Rivalries In Sports - SI.com

Florida/UGA is the only one that clearly doesn't belong.

Florida/Florida St is a much bigger and more important rivalry.
 
omfg...this is another one of theirs. Reggie Bush vs. Fresno State on this list of greatest performances and VY is not. Look at all the replies touting Vince, though.

I might believe that BoSox Yanks was the best rivalry if they weren't constantly trading players. A good rivalry is not just between the fans, but also the players, management, and owners (if pro). There is a good fan rivalry and the players pander to that, but I don't buy most of this bad blood crap, it is just players using the forum as an excuse to let out some frustration and blaming it on rivalry.

I'll buy Duke UNC, and Cowboys Redskins, but Florida/UGA?!?!!? There are 10 better rivalries in college football!!!! I didn't even really realize it was anything more than a conference rivalry until a year or two ago? Miami Florida state is better than this rivalry.

Georgia-Florida? wtf? I don't even know if New Mexico State and Idaho play football but I am pretty sure there's as much of a rivalry there as in Ga-UF.
 
If people don't know that UGA/UF is a rivalry, they are either idiots are new to college football. Pick either one as they are the only two choices.

I wouldn't put UGA/UF anywhere near #1 in College Football but the stupidity on this thread with "I didn't even know it was a rivlary" is idiotic.

pretty sure most people know that they have a rivarly. but not that it was suposedly a big one. i dont think its anywhere close to michgan/ ohio state. texas/ ou or bama/ auburn
 
You know there is nothing bigger than an SEC rivalry. Not Michigan/Ohio State or Texas/OU or Army/Navy.

They pale in comparison to a ******* cocktail party.
