Top recruiting budgets

Speaks well of Texas. Lowest percentage increase 2002-2007, not among the top ten in $ spent yet we are in the top 5 in the Directors Cup. In fact there is not a Directors Cup top 5 school in the top ten. For god's sake, what is KSU spending that money on?
 
As it refers to Texas it mostly means UT doesn't have to travel far to get top recruits. KSU has to travel to Florida, Texas, and throughout the south east to try and scrape together quality recruits.
 
What most interesting are schools with presumed greater ROIs on recruiting expenses related to Sears cup placement that aren't even ON the 1-A list.
 
20% increase from 2002 to 2007. It would be interesting to see what the Consumer Price Index CPI values would be for these numbers to get a feel for what our real increase is. I may do that later today.
 
Our cost of 514,000 in 1997 would be 663,876.64 in 2007 based on the CPI. So our spending increase from 97-07 is actually 74.25% increase.
