Love this show. The cars, the way it's shot, and the chemistry between the 3 hosts is great.
Since you probably follow Top Gear and stuff surrounding it pretty closely you might already know about this, but just in case you don't (and for others)
It prolly won't be as good as the original BBC version (which you all can view on BBC America on TWC), but it'll still prolly be a lot of fun. Adam Corolla was great on Love Lines.
Top Gear is absolutely one of the funniest, most original, and as you pointed out, most professionally shot shows on tv. I believe it's the BBC's highest rated show, and one of the most syndicated shows in the world.
Any of you who:
a) like cars
b) like to laugh
c) like cars and like to laugh
My wife often chides me for liking cars too much, but she too loves Top Gear. In fact, after the birth of our first child via C section my wife thought she might have hurt the incision laughing at Top Gear.
Series 10 (the newest) was awesome. The Channel Challenge, Jeremy's review of the Peel P50, their African challenge, and their race to get through London the fastest are all in consecutive episodes.
They show the crash at the at the end of the first episode of series nine. I get all my episodes via torrents, so you could try that method. Otherwise, you could wait to catch it on BBC America (I don't know what episodes they are showing).
If you don't really care about seeing full episodes, then you can see it here:
I about cried laughing during the RV race. I've really got to start paying attention to when it's on and not just wandering in while my roommate watches it.
