Since 2004 Huntsman has had a token office in Utah for a few corporate tax lawyers and personnel for investor relations. It was moved to the main corporate office in The Woodlands in 2016.

What's up with Virginia? Anyone else surprised that their largest company is Release Estate company? Is Regions (Alabama) a health care provider?

When Boeing moved their HQ (~100 executives) to Chicago from Seattle ~5yrs ago they instantly became Illinois top company.

I think what this map shows more than anything is the economic disparity between states. It would be interesting to see the top 5 revenue companies per state. The disparity would likely be more apparent between the strong economic states and their inverse.
