Top Chef All Stars - Previous Runner-Ups

The show started last Wednesday and the first episode was excellent. Lots of top-notch chefs trying to make good with this second-chance.

The previews for tomorrow's show looked great, as the contestants, having come close to winning it all in their respective season, are much bolder in their communications with the judges. In fact, Jen, from the Vegas season (in my humble opinion easliy the strongest of all 7 seasons) tells the judges something to the effect of, "If you're so smart, why don't you tell me? You're the judges."

Looking forward to this season's episodes.

Show looks good.

I think jen will do fine but I was hoping for the volt brother or kevin to come back. Probably too busy.

Fabio's ego is a little too big for his own good.

Unreal. They sacked Jen last night. Apparently, standing behind your dish doesn't quite cut it. She had some choice words for the judges and cursed several times while leaving the holding area after saying her goodbyes.

How the hell did Jamie not get axed? She did NOTHING, and provided no help on the dish with Jen. Yeah, apparently the dish was lacking,but at least she cooked something!!!!!

Pretty sure in the past when someone has been hurt or hasn't participated in the dish the judges have taken the stance that they didn't do anything to make the dish good but they didn't do anything to make the dish bad. Therefore it falls on the person who was left by themself to take the blame for a bad dish.

Yeah, I know -- like in restaurant wars where the front-of-house guy/girl pretty much gets a pass
