They should get a lot of playing time as most are coming into a situation where there is a need for their skills. My pick for Freshman of the Year: Ariel. King of WVU and OU’s Ortiz and Pierre-Louis step into situations where they could be starters, depending on how well they acclimate to college play.

Ready or not, one or both of Iowa State's newbie post players will probably see extensive playing time if not making the starting line-up. That's either Claire Ricketts from Plano or Bryanna Fernstrom out of Minnesota. The addition of these two players adds some needed depth to the Cyclones. Another really solid frosh in Ames is Nakia Bell who played for the #1 prep team out of St. Louis.
